Owl’s developers are always working on new ways to enhance your practice’s efficiency. This could be something big like our upcoming Online Booking system (the astute of you may have seen references to it showing up around our site or heard us talking about), but we always want to make sure that we add new things you don’t see coming!
For instance, you’ve been asking for this for a long time! We’ve finally managed to clear Resolution #3 and are excited to have released it overnight!
SMS Text Reminders:
We’ve heard repeatedly how our email reminders dropped your no-show rate to almost zero. Now, in addition to (or instead of) sending email reminders, you can also send SMS text reminders directly to a client’s phone!
SMS reminders work the same way as email reminders. You configure them on a client-by-client basis in the Contact & Clinical tab of a client’s profile, and customize the reminder message in SETTINGS / APPOINTMENT REMINDERS.
We’ve also had some requests to allow you to set appointment reminders directly from the Add Client window, so you can do this now too!
Other Updates:
Here are three other feature enhancements to pass along:
- INVOICE DATE – Now, when creating a manual invoice (using Create Invoice), you can specify the invoice date as needed.
- FEE SCHEDULE SORTING – You can now sort your Fee Schedule using the column headings in that table.
- ALL CLIENTS LIST – We’ve defaulted the All Clients list to show just “Active” clients so you don’t need to wade through all your inactive clients.
