Custom Gender Identity Fields
Custom gender identity fields offer complete flexibility. Fill in a blank gender identity field instead of selecting from specific gender identity options in a dropdown menu. This gives you the freedom to add the information that’s best suited to each individual client, empowering you to fully document their gender identities and pronouns within their profiles.
The ability to document your clients’ pronouns and gender identities enables you to treat your clients with the dignity and respect they deserve—always. We hope that this accurate record keeping will add to the exemplary service that you work so hard to offer your clients.
The Custom Gender Fields option can be found in your Add Client window. For existing clients, you can make any adjustments to your clients’ gender identities in the Contact & Clinical area.
Preferred Name Field
Owl’s preferred name field gives you the option to have a client’s preferred name appear in all areas of the practice management system, from calendar and appointment bookings to the client portal and appointment reminders. You’ll have the ability to use the name your client would like to use, instead of the name they were given at birth. This offers the flexibility to use their name of choice on reminders, session notes, calendar events, etc. while also using their legal name when necessary on financial documents and records.
